Karnataka Common Entrance Test

Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) is a statewide entrance examination conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA), Karnataka every year. Through this exam, eligible candidates can be admitted to various professional undergraduate courses offered by the various governmental and private schools of the state.

Citizenship
Candidates must be citizens of India (if they want to be admitted to government universities).
Qualification criteria
For B.Tech/BE- Candidates must have passed in the 2nd PUC, that is, 10 + 2 or equivalent, with a subject of English as a language and Physics, and Mathematics together with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Electronics / Computer with a Added 45% brands (40% for SC / ST / Category 1,2A, 2B, 3A and 3B category) of a recognized Board.
For agricultural science courses: candidates must have passed the 2nd PUC or 10 + 2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology as an optional subject.
For (BV Sc. & AH): the applicant must have approved 10 + 2 with a minimum of 50% (40% for SC / ST / Category 1,2A, 2B, 3A and 3B) added in physics, chemistry, biology and English subjects
For B.Pharma, candidates must have passed the 2nd PUC / 10 + 2 or equivalent in Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with a minimum of 45% of grades (40% for SC / ST / Category 1, 2A, 2B, Category 3A and 3B).

KCET 2019 application form


Candidates can fill out KCET 2019 application forms through online mode from the official website.
Application forms can be filled from the first week of February 2019.
Applicants are advised to bring a hard copy of the completed application form and the confirmation form for future reference.

Visit the official KEA website, that is, kea.kar.nic.in.
Click on the link "CET-2019 UG Online Application".
Register by providing all the necessary details. An application number and password will be generated.
Now fill in all the details in the form correctly.
Load the scanned copies of the recent passport size photograph, the signature and the left thumb print in the prescribed format.
Print the Challan and pay the application fee.
Take the hard copy of the form and have it signed by the director of the university / school where the candidates have approved the 10 + 2 / PUC. Applicants must submit the same copy at the time of verification of the document.
