Karnataka Comedk Application form

It is expected that the online registration of the Consortium of Medicine, Engineering and Dentistry Schools of Karnataka (COMEDK) will begin as of the 2nd week of January. The official COMEDK UGET 2019 calendar will be published shortly on comedk.org. This year, the regulatory body will tentatively conduct the exam in the second week of May 2019.

The statewide test is conducted for candidates seeking admission to the B.Tech degree programs. UGET scores are accepted by more than 150 engineering schools, 12 medical schools and 25 dental schools in the state of Karnataka. The results will be published in the last week of May 2019 together with the list of merits.

Previously, students seeking admission to the faculties of medicine and dentistry of Karnataka had to apply for the exam. With NEET becoming the national medical / dental entrance test, the COMEDK medical examination has been suspended. Now, COMEDK only offers admissions to engineering and architecture schools in the state. The exam opens around 190 universities and 20,000 seats for applicants. It is speculated that almost 2 lakh students will be presented for this year's exam. COMEDK (Consortium of Faculties of Medicine, Engineering and Dentistry of Karnataka) also administers the entrance exam nationwide in association with UniGAUGE to enter the BE / BTech course in the state.
